The Secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has congratulated the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, His Royal Highness Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Abubakar, CFR, on his 74th birthday.

In a congratulatory message, the SSG described the monarch as a highly respected traditional ruler whose wisdom, experience and statesmanship have contributed immensely to the peace, unity and development of Niger State and Nigeria.

Alhaji Usman commended the Etsu Nupe for his commitment to preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Nupe people, as well as his efforts towards promoting peaceful coexistence, unity and mutual understanding among the diverse communities of the state.

He also acknowledged the monarch’s continued support for successive administrations and his constructive contributions to strengthening the relationship between the traditional institution and government.

The SSG wished the Etsu Nupe many more years of good health, wisdom and fulfilment, while praying Almighty Allah to continue to grant him strength and guidance to provide exemplary leadership and contribute to the progress and development of Niger State and the country.

He expressed hope that the monarch’s years of service and experience would continue to inspire peace, unity and development across the state and beyond.
