The Presidency says Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, will continue to represent President Bola Tinubu at official engagements while the President remains on his extended working vacation.

In a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the Presidency said President Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the weekend.

It could be recalled that President Tinubu left Nigeria on August 30 for a working vacation, initially travelling to London before moving to Paris, France.

The Presidency says the President has remained in touch with developments at home and continues to direct the affairs of government while away.
